We’re getting 2026 started off on the right foot with a casual evening filled with the sounds of two extremely talented blues artists and local legends. John “JT” Thompson and Andy Tolins join forces for an intimate evening filled with captivating blues, blues rock, American roots, and soul tunes.
Cozy up in one of the comfortable seats with a cocktail in our listening lounge and settle in for an evening of rich live music while saying hello to the promise of a new year with us here at Alla Spina.
ABOUT JT BLUES
“JTBlues” is the nom de musicien of John “JT” Thompson, an inimitable fixture in the central Pennsylvania music scene. You may have seen him as the keyboard player in one of the various groups he performs with, or as a soloist, perhaps playing gentle music in the background during dinner, or rocking out as The One-Man Piano Band.
Influenced by great piano players like Dr. John, Ann Rabson, Professor Longhair, and Bill Payne, JT’s style is rooted in the Blues, but his repertoire encompasses much more than that.
He’s released two albums of music, “Chase Away Your Blues” and “This Way That Way,” has been a Jamarama host on the Legendary Blues Cruise, and a
finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennesseee
ABOUT ANDY TOLINS
Andy Tolins is an award-winning guitarist, songwriter, and singer. His repertoire includes bluegrass, celtic, blues, rock & roll, and swing. Tolins sings and arranges both his own tunes and traditional fiddle tunes, blues, and other roots-oriented music. He plays guitars, National steel, mandolin, and dobro, and technique has earned him a reputation as a fine soloist. He arranges and produces both his music and that of other musicians as well.
Tolins also leads both the Triple A Blues Band and the Tolins' Bluegrass Revue. Triple A's debut CD, Highwater, earned Billboard/Musician Magazine's Best Unsigned Band Competition. The quintet is a powerhouse of urban and country blues, featuring Tolins' vocals and steel and electric guitars, accompanied by organ, piano, and wailing harmonica. The band released Pork Chop Money, their second CD, and are working on a new project now.

Day-of tickets can be purchased online up to 2 hours prior to the event.
Walk-ins are welcome as long as the event is not sold out prior.
Seating assignments are on a first-come, first-served basis.
Some seats have partial views.

PARKING DETAILS
Parking is available in a combination of THREE private lots. Lot #1 located in front of HiWay; Lot #2 located behind HiWay; and Lot #3 located next door to HiWay in the West College Centre parking lot (1315 West College Avenue). Please do not park on the grass, or along the sides of Coral Street behind HiWay.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Event ticket purchases will only be refunded if you notify us at least 24 hours prior to reservation date/time. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, or otherwise. In the event of an experience cancellation, we will contact you directly at the phone number or email address you have provided to offer a full refund or credit to transfer to a future experience.
